Construction Progress: The Living Seawall Takes Shape

The Living Seawall at The Church by the Sea is taking shape. Major sections of the new seawall have now been formed and poured, with crews continuing to work their way along the waterfront. Steel reinforcement and forms are being installed as construction moves into the remaining sections.

Once the structural work is complete, we’ll move closer to the part we’re most excited about: transforming the seawall into a habitat designed to support marine life. We’re making steady progress toward the next phase of the project, with more updates to come as the Living Seawall comes to life.
